Director Park Chan Wook Would Like to Cast SHINee’s Key in His Movie

Park Chan Wook, a well-known director, chooses SHINee‘s Key as the idol he would cast in his movie.

On July 22nd, Park Chan Wook, together with director Bong Jun Ho, attended the Media Day at Apgujeong for his new movie called “Snow Piercer.”

During the conference, Park Chan Wook talked a bit about his experience directing Lee Jung Hyun‘s new music video and how he was worried since he was not very familiar with the idol world.

The director said, “But I realized why people listen to idol’s music. When you listen to it, you start thinking about it more often. The addiction of a hook song was great.”

Park Chan Wook confidently answered “SHINee,” when asked about idols that he knew. He said, “My daughter really loves SHINee, so I know them. She especially likes Key the best.”

The director also said that if he were to cast a SHINee member in his movie, it would be Key. He said, “He has a lot of sense and personality.”
