On October 28th, boy group DKB dropped the music video to their latest title track, ‘Rollercoaster’. This comes off the group’s 1st single album of the same name. Containing only the instrumental of said song in the album, the track gives off a rarer chill vibe special to their own sound. Similarly releasing R&B/ Hip Hop title tracks like their previous ‘Work Hard’, the nonet continue and expand on this sound here.
With the charismatic but relaxed raps, the flow comes off as smooth as butter, with the vocals equally free. A perfect track for those days when you want to just put some music on and let the atmosphere take you in. The track talks deeply about the rollercoaster of emotions experienced in a relationship. This contemplative subject matter thus acts as the centre of attention behind the lo-fi sleep and thought inducing backing.
