On April 10th, Dongyo Entertainment’s boy group DONGKIZ uploaded another group teaser image ahead of their imminent 4th single album comeback, ‘YOUNIVERSE’. Check it out down below!
In the photo, we see the quintet dressed colourfully on top with a casual button-up shirt and loosened tie, layered with vibrant choices of jackets. Standing on the grassy strip, their trousers look considerably darker but to offset loud looks above, however overall lead to a fitted young and trendy appearance. Sun shining, behind them, there sits a tall beige town hall-esque structure, with its high decorated poles, holding the building steady, and giving it an older aesthetic.
These outfits were also used in the previous batch of individual member concept photos the group released earlier. Paired with another set of denim head to toe, the act appear to be returning to an upgraded version of their high spirited concept characterized by their underrated debut and comebacks in 2018 and 2019 with tracks such as the catchy disco led ‘Fever’. 2020 saw them show their versatility with darker concepts with songs such as the synth drum heavy ‘Beautiful’, which was their most recent comeback; hence making this return their first in seven months. More recently, at the end of 2020, the group unveiled a pleasant MV with their festive song called ‘It’s All Right’, fully penned and produced by the members. They have now been more active on their official YouTube channel performing vocal and dance covers, as well as airing their own variety show, ‘DONGKY TOWN COMPANY’, complete with subtitles in various languages including English for international fans to enjoy.
More teasers such as the track list and an MV teaser will be coming out in the next few days so stay tuned for when they drop. The boy group is also offering those who pre-order the album to get the chance to take part in a personal video call and / or receive a signed polaroid photo card with their purchase.
