After the death of her mother and discovering her fiancé is cheating on her with a coworker, flight attendant Hong Na Ri (Soo Ae) returns to her mothers grave. At the grave, she finds a man living in her house claiming to be her stepfather who also happens to be three years younger than her. In this romantic comedy, Na Ri delves into the mystery of her stepfather, Go Nan Gil (Kim Young Kwang) and romance ensues. Lee Soo Hyuk plays a businessman looking to buy the land from Na Ri and Jo Bo Ah plays the mistress stewardess.
I honestly wasn’t sure what I was expecting going into the drama. I had seen posters but hadn’t been following it. I normally don’t go for the overly comedic shows, but this one is different. There’s something about this drama that just has me completely hooked. First off, Young Kwang plays the role extraordinarily well. In fact it almost reflects his character in ‘Go Ho’s Starry Night,‘ not to mention he looks absolutely amazing. Soo Ae is adorable and doesn’t take crap from people, although I want to see her fight off her ex more rather than fight with the mistress. The first OST that plays is absolutely terrific and sets the tone for the entire show. It’s also really awkward to really want a stepfather and daughter together despite that the fact that they are close in age. But at the same time I found myself almost pleading for them to get together.
Overall it’s a 10/10 I really can’t say why I’m so hooked but the production team definitely did something right!
