Talk about more comedic antics in a 59 minute episode. In episode 3, Kim Bok-Joo finally has the courage to ask her dream boat doctor Jung Jae-Yi, played by the sexy Lee Jae-Yoon, whether or not he likes Messi the Argentinian soccer player.
She takes the advice of her friend to ask the boy she likes whether or not he/she likes soccer. Of course to the doctor’s surprise this was something definitely out of left field. But this is where the doctor is realizing that his newest patient as a little bit of a charmer.
Upon leaving the clinic, she was adviced to join the program where it will cost her 590,000 won. Bok-Joo decides to go to her father and lie to him to give her money for new weightlifting shoes. But when she gets to her father’s restaurant she realized that her father needs the money more to get a new scooter.
Heartbroken that she doesn’t have any money, Bok-Joo returns to her school. She is constantly thinking about her sexy doctor and sad that she won’t be able to see him. But that doesn’t stop her mind from having illusions about him every second she thinks about him. He is either in the training room with her, or right outside her department holding an umbrella for her. Girl’s got it bad.
Finally we get a little insight on Ms. Song Shi-Ho. So we find out that she isn’t financially well off because her parents had to sell their house for her to compete in many national events and for her to travel abroad. Fans get a chance to see her frustration and where her stress is coming from. Poor girl. It doesn’t help that the only person that really care about her well-being is ignoring her for what she did to him a couple of years ago. And talk about a tough love coach, she really has it out for herself.
Bok-Joo finds out that this year’s mountain hike will give the first place winner a prize which happens to be money. Finally there is a god for our lovely Kim Bok-Joo. Of course it doesn’t help that her childhood friend is constantly on her back and disturbing her focus to win that money. Although in the end she doesn’t win it. This is another let down for our Kim Bok-Joo since the loss prevents her from meeting her doctor. She decides to hang with her friends and go out drinking. Her best friend Jung Nan-Hee has too much to drink and ends up disturbing the guys sitting behind them. It leads to the girls arguing with the men and they even throw a fit when the guys told them that “they’re not girls, anyway”. Jung Joon-Hyung just so happens to walk in on all the commotion and is sad that a man disrespected a fellow colleague. So much that he takes it upon himself to put a couple of blows in the group of guys faces. Talk about hilarious chasing scene to end their night. At this point Joon-Hyung is already showing signs of his liking for his childhood friend Kim Bok-Joo.
The episode ends with a light note, Bok-Joo gets her money for her clinic treatment but feels bad because it belongs to her father who worked very hard for his daughter to enjoy it with her friends. She decides to not spend it, but realizes that her love for the doctor is more than just a crush and decides to use the money. On the way she has a chance encounter with him, but she thinks is an illusion until she touches him it’s really him.
In episode 4 so many things come to light such as to what drove Jung Joon-Hyung and Song Shi-Ho to their break up and as to what Joon-Hyung causes his stress level to go up, which affects him during swimming. The new episodes introduce Kim Bok-Joo struggling to keep two identities so she can separate and hide her real world from Dr. Jung Jae Yi.
But on a lighter note, Bok-Joo finally has her moment with the doctor. It took a lot of energy for her to fork up the cash to pay for her treatment but she still manages to give it. She realizes that she is completely heads over heels with her doctor, and that he is the only one who actually treats her like a girl.
Shi-Ho realizes that Joon-Hyung has someone newer in his life. When she sees Bok-Joo and Joon-Hyung goofing around in the cafeteria. Talk about green monster on Shi-Ho’s part. This leads her to tell Joon-Hyung that Bok-Joo and her are roommates (not awkward at all).
We finally see what caused Joon-Hyung’s headaches and dizziness. His psychologist questions him if he has had a traumatic past or if something recently happened. Of course Joon-Hyung lies, to which the doctor knows very well that he is lying. But he is willing to wait until he is ready to open up. We get a flashback of a young Joon-Hyung and see how his mother walked out on him and that his aunt and uncle were the ones who been sending him the postcards instead of his mom, ouch.
We also see as to why Joon-Hyung and Shi-Ho really broke up. Shi-Ho was stressing for not getting her routine and worrying about her financial struggles. This lead to her breaking up with Joon-Hyung. Although she felt that the only one good thing was him. Joon-Hyung confronts her about how selfish she is and only think about herself (which I cheered like a fangirl when the lead told it how it is).
This episode we see how each of the woman is affecting Joon-Hyung and we are seeing that the best person for him Ms. Kim Bok-Joo.
We have many other surprises along the way. Kim Bok-Joo’s team mate becomes a father, which leads for her coach to tell Bok-Joo’s father that she needs to increase her weight. This is not good news for our girl when her mind is wrapped around losing weight for her doctor.
We think our Shi-Ho could be suffering from anorexia, I’m judging quickly because of that moment when she drank a sweet beverage and threw it up.
Doctor Jung Jae-Yi finally confesses to his brother that his newest patient is adorable and likable, I don’t see any love triangle just yet. But it was cute how the doctor gushed over Bok-Joo’s charms. Towards the end, Bok-Joo hasn’t gotten the news about her new training which we know in the up and coming episode it will be hard for her. But she gets a surprise attack when she finds out about her doctor and who his brother is. I see more comedic parts heading our way this coming Wednesday and Thursday.
