Hip-hop artist MC Mong has signed with Dream T Entertainment to finish out his contract from Wellmade Yedang.
On February 16, a representative of the agency stated, “In the beginning of 2016, we took over MC Mong’s contract from Wellmade Yedang, so we will support his activities for three years from now on.”
Previously, the artist had signed with Wellmade Yedang in 2014 but it was Dream T, who also houses Girl’s Day and M.A.P6, that was responsible for his management work. His previous full album, ‘Miss Me or Diss Me’, back in November of 2014, received much acknowledgement from the public after a five year hiatus. MC Mong followed that up with a mini album in 2015, ‘Song For You’ and a concert series, both which were a success.
“We will support his activities so that he can show off his ability and talents to public as a singer. We are currently working on MC Mong’s album producing, concerts and other performances”, the agency said. For now, MC Mong is working on a new album for the future.
Wellmade Yedang is known for their actors such as Lee Jong Suk and the popular girl group EXID.
It’s good to see that someone is able to take over the contract for MC Mong. I look forward to his new album and what Dream T has in store for him since he has a variety of skills including variety shows and acting. What’s your take on this new development? We want to know your opinion.
