On July 23rd, girl group DREAMCATCHER released the track list to their upcoming special mini album, ‘Summer Holiday’. This follows drops of various individual and group teaser images displaying a wider set of concepts, including a set of the typical brighter summery looks found in K-Pop, atypical of the ‘Scream’ singers.
This comeback will mark their second in 2021 following their February EP, ‘Dystopia: Road to Utopia’ and promotions with the track, ‘Odd Eye’. That release saw their popularity continue to soar, beating their last record of sales, collating over 128,000 albums sold. As the self named company group continue to expand based on their signature sound, this new comeback is set to lead to further growth.

DREAMCATCHER ‘SUMMER HOLIDAY’ TRACK LIST:
The EP is set to contain six new tracks. These include an ‘Intro’ and its title track, ‘BEcause’. Notably the main title is written, composed and arranged by the hitmakers OLLOUNDER and LEEZ, whom often produce the singles from the group. Examples include 2018’s ‘You & I’, 2019’s ‘PIRI’ and also more recent comebacks ‘Boca’ and ‘Odd Eye’. Being a special mini album seemingly brighter in its concept in comparison to the septet’s rock and harsh girl crush image, it will be interesting to hear how this new effort will sound.
Some members have again participated in the production of these new songs. Main vocalist Sihyeon worked on the choruses of the title track, ‘Airplane’ and ‘A Heart of Sunflower’; lead vocal Yoohyeon participated in ‘Whistle’ and ‘Alldaylong’; and finally leader JiU made efforts towards the lyrics and composition of ‘Alldaylong’.
With less than a week until the rock-centric group make their return, there is no long to go.
DREAMCATCHER‘s special mini album, ‘Summer Holiday’ will be released on July 30th, 6PM KST!
