To kick off my choices for the ‘Best of 2015‘ is who I thought the best male group of the year was! It’s probably no shocker that I chose Infinite because I’m severely biased, but besides that, their releases this year were outstanding!
Not only did they have a group comeback with ‘Reality‘ back in July, earlier this year, Infinite H, comprised of Dongwoo and Hoya, released their second album ‘Fly Again‘, Sungkyu came out with his second solo album in May called ‘27‘, not to mention their Japanese albums ‘24 Hours‘ and more recently, ‘For You‘.
And on top of all that, announced their second world tour ‘Infinite Effect‘, which I have the honor of attending in New York!
They’ve also been filming for their new variety show ‘Infinite Showtime‘, which is sure to cause laughter as they are one of the many groups that always make a lasting impression with their variety skills.
Infinite have been busy little bees in 2015 and even with Hoya’s ankle injury and various individual schedules the members have had, they still proved why they’re one of the most popular boy groups in K-Pop.
‘Bad‘ has to be one of my all-time favorite title tracks from them and the whole ‘Reality’ album itself is also one of my top favorites! I’m anticipating their next album, but I do hope after they officially wrap up the end of their world tour at the end of January, they finally get to take a long, well-deserved break.
Please enjoy these performances from their time on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘ when they were promoting their most recent album.
I love when idols perform on this show because the “live” sound quality is so good.
Stay tuned for my other ‘Best of 2015’ choices! And make sure you check out Infinite’s music videos on Woollim Entertainment‘s official YouTube channel right here!
