After many teaser images, the long awaited release of the Epik High’s seventh album titled 99 is finally over. The album features eight songs, two of which already have MV’s. The album has two title tracks being Don’t Hate Me and Up —which features Park Bom from 2NE1. The full version was released on October 19th.
The tracks include Epik High’s signature style and echo effect, along with a very upbeat style with rock influences. The music videos feature the trio in two different settings; a skate park and a convenience store. Along with video editing that makes the entire video black and white aside from specific areas of red and blue.
A different aspect to this album is that the lyrics are not only rapped but sung.
