K-Pop star Eric Nam has teamed up with Russian EDM heavyweight Arty on the DJ’s latest single ‘Idea of You‘.

The track, which dropped on June 9, starts out quietly, pairing Eric Nam‘s captivating vocals with the strumming of a guitar. Arty slowly increases the song’s intensity, adding percussion and building up the synth throughout the pre-chorus. This build up culminates in a house style instrumental break with a beat perfect for summer, which is sure to get music lovers grooving! ‘Idea of You‘ features emotional lyrics reflecting on the feelings connected with the end of a relationship. 2017 has already been a big year for Eric Nam, collaborating with Gallant and Epik High‘s Tablo on the single ‘Cave Me In‘ in January, and most recently with former I.O.I member Jeon Somi on ‘You, Who?‘ in March. We hope Eric Nam has many more releases planned for the rest of the year!
