On September 15th, girl group EVERGLOW released the MV teaser for their upcoming title track, ‘LA DI DA’. Three days later on the 18th, they dropped the highlight medley that contains previews for all the tracks in the associated mini album, ‘-77.82X-78.29’. Check out both teasers down below!
EVERGLOW ‘LA DI DA’ MV TEASER + ‘-77.82X-78.29’ ALBUM HIGHLIGHT MEDLEY:
In the MV teaser, we first see rain falling in a night fallen city. Lights shine across the buildings, including the one the members all stand in black leather outfits seen in their previous concept photos with the group’s logo behind them. Subsequently, there are scenes of the individual members doing activities around the city including driving, hiding in tunnels and waiting at the underground station amongst others. In a barren black set, we quickly see the group dance and hear a snippet of the the retro synth led hook of the track with the title sung. They all look charismatic and show off their girl crush charms in the short clip of the performance. The teaser ends with a back view of the group looking over the city over a rooftop.
Listening to the highlight medley, the members vocals shine throughout each of the songs. There is a mixture of mostly synth/electronic and some trap beats. Although there is no traditional ballad song, the album sounds like it will be full of mid and uptempo dance bops. The title track hence, including the teaser we heard in the MV teaser will be a strong electronic/synth-pop tune.
The sextet have released many concept photos, the track list and now these recently released teasers ahead of their 2nd mini album comeback. They will also hold a comeback V LIVE on September 20th, a day before their official return and album drop.
EVERGLOW‘s 2nd mini album, ‘-77.82X-78.29’, featuring the title track and MV for ‘LA DI DA’, will be released on September 21st, 6PM KST!
