They’ve teased us mercilessly for weeks now about their comeback and last night EXO slayed us!
We finally got to hear the full version of ‘Ko Ko Bop’ and see the accompanying music video.
The title track from EXO’s 4th studio album ‘The War’ does not disappoint. EXO moves into new territory with ‘Ko Ko Bop’. Besides the overt reggae tones, the track features a heavy base line, layers of synth and a satisfying down and dirty trap breakdown.
As you would expect from EXO the production of the track is taken right to the edge of perfection.
The music video is as fierce as we have come to expect from the band (and the teasers). It is filled with colour, awesome (and at time surreal) visuals and of course EXO’s trademark flawless choreography.
Watch EXO’s title track ‘Ko Ko Bop’ below:
‘Ko Ko Bop’ was co-written by Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun and is about ‘wanting to dance freely together on the night before the inevitable war’.
