EXO‘s Lay and Alan Walker released the ‘relift’ version of Lay‘s track ‘Sheep‘ a few days ago, and we can’t get enough of it!
‘Sheep‘ was originally released as the title track from Lay‘s 2017 solo album ‘LAY 02 SHEEP‘, and featured an electro-pop sound.
This version called ‘Sheep (Alan Walker Relift)’ – not a remix, a ‘relift’, combines the perfect blend of the original version with the new grittier sound, giving the song a cool, edgy feel, imbuing it with a darker trap edge. It’s a powerful, bass-heavy version that will push already over-worked sub-woofers to their limit.
The accompanying music video also has a darker, harder edge to it, much like the track itself. Lay‘s choreography is taken to a new level and plants him firmly in Walker’s surreal ‘World of Walker‘ which is a sci-fi storyline that is a constant theme in Walker’s videos.
The EXO member performed the new version recently at the ‘Lollapalooza‘ music festival.
