Check out our list of the most lit MONSTA X songs below!
5. ‘Stuck’
Everything about this song is just lit! From the way it starts with a strong beat and the members’ confident and sexy expressions, you can just tell that the song is epic. The suspense built up at the beginning is dealt with perfectly in the fast-paced nature of the song. The combination of softer parts of the song which contrasts well with the stronger parts creates an addictive groove. Joohoney and I.M‘s rap that leads to the chorus and Wonho‘s dance break is what really makes this song so special!
4. ‘Jealousy’
The slow start along with Kihyun‘s singing and I.M‘s deep voice sets the mood for the song. Wonho‘s slow but strong singing and Hyungwon’s fast and soft voice creates a tinge of excitement. The way the song is quite gentle before the chorus hits is the special point for this song. Again, Joohoney and I.M‘s slow but powerful rap after the second chorus gives the song the kick it needs!
3. ‘Dramarama’
Along with the exhilarating story line behind this music video, the song is absolutely lit. It seems like MONSTA X enjoy starting off their songs slowly almost as if they are easing fans and preparing them for what’s next! The members all chant ‘Dramarama‘ at the beginning before a bouncy and somewhat fun rhythm plays. The song doesn’t really have a ‘strong’ part like usual but this only makes it better. The song overall is quite gentle even though the members add a sense of power through their voices. The way Joohoney and I.M exchange their powerful raps and Kihyun‘s high note near is what gives the song it’s strength.
2. ‘Trespass’
Unlike the three songs already mentioned, ‘Trespass‘ starts off strong! The strong and fast thumping of the beats already create suspense and the boys go straight to the chorus first. The catchy and very groovy nature of the song is what makes their debut track so good. Matching with their concept of rebellious boys, the members showed off their strong and powerful voices here. The song is easy to follow making everyone bop their heads along with the strong beats. Shownu‘s softer and more emotional singing near the end of the song contrasts with the strong nature of the song giving it a nice rhythm to follow.
1. ‘Alligator’
The group’s latest release ‘Alligator‘ is a bop! The song combines both slow and fast beats as if imitating how an alligator would prey. The song starts off with a slow and sinister sound and this goes on until the chorus hits. The chorus is powerful and fast creating an addictive rhythm and the way the members say ‘Alligator‘ is so easy to follow. Joohoney‘s somewhat cheeky but very powerful rap gives the song a refreshing sparkle. Going on from Joohoney‘s powerful rap, I.M receives it and brings it back to a slower pace still keeping the amount of energy in it though. Hyungwon and Minhyuk‘s lead up to the chorus and Kihyun‘s ad-libs at the end are definitely lit.
That was our list of just some of MONSTA X‘s most lit title tracks!
