If you didn’t know, FNC Entertainment, home of rock bands FTISLAND, CNBLUE, and N.Flying, is getting ready to debut a new all guy dance group.
Earlier this year, it was announced that FNC would be trying something new in the ways of debuting their trainees. Normally, they are know for creating bands and acoustic soloists; even AOA started off as an all girl rock band before they switched it up to be a dance group. As of December 14, FNC released a teaser on the new Neo School YouTube showing eleven school boys dancing, writing music, and being overall energetic. There isn’t much information giving what exactly Neo School is from the video, but you can go to the website to find out more. Which is exactly what I did.
The website is set up with different sections. Neo School, Cabinet, Class Room, Yearbook, Studio, and After School. Most of the sections are still under construction but if you click on the chalkboard that says ‘Neo School’, a parchment box appears. You can chose hangeul or English to read what it says. According to the announcement, Neo School is a program set up for the trainees that have endured through the early steps of training and moving on to the next step. Neo stands for “Newfound” and is the rookie school that will ultimately evaluate who will be able to officially debut.
On the website you can see that FNC has also set up an Instagram, Facebook, and Weibo account for this new program. From the YouTube page you can find the link to their Twitter and Fancafe also.
FNC Entertainment has had much success with their rock bands, and their all girl dance group. Though we do not have much information on who the trainees will be, we do see their faces pretty quickly in the teaser though. I look forward to seeing how this all progresses, and will keep you updated as more parts are revealed.
