After the break-up of one of Korea’s most famous and treasured boy-groups, MBLAQ, the future of its members was unclear even for the ones who stayed at J.Tune Camp.
It seems like a clear path has finally opened for one of them, though. Thunder has signed with Mystic Entertainment‘s music label Apop as a solo artist.
According to the company, “We’ve signed an exclusive contract with Cheon Dung. He is an artist with infinite potential in many different fields. We will be supporting not only his music activities but his growth in various fields, such as acting and variety shows. His acting will especially be supported by Mystic Entertainment’s acting label, Family Actors.”
This will surely be good for Thunder, who already showed his wishes for a solo debut with his solo single “Monster“, and also proved to be a talented actor through his role in the drama “Nail Shop Paris“. The company is also home of many famous artists such as Gain and Jo Hyung Woo, so he’ll surely be very welcomed.
What do you think his solo debut will be like? Now that he’s in a new company, will we be able to see some collaborations, maybe with his long time friend IU or his sister Sandara Park?
