Three members of X-5, the group which disbanded in December 2012 due to the scandal surrounding its former agency, Open World Entertainment, has signed a contract with a new agency.
Hae Won, Tae Fung and Sulhu have joined Box Media and will debut in April as a 5-member group named Lu:kus. Choi, who has already debuted as a solo singer, and Kyung Jin, who is said to be a vocal performance major at the Korea Broadcasting and Arts Foundation will join the three.
Box Media’s representative stated: “X-5′s Hae Won, Tae Fung and Sulhu are working hard for their debuts. They′re working harder than ever before due to the difficulties they′ve been through. You can look forward to their debut in late April.”
X-5 disbanded last year after Open World Entertainment’s representative was charged for rape. Soon after that, the group’s leader, Ghun, entered the army and the agency decided to cancel the members’ contracts to let them be free agents.
