Not all chapters are shut or ended violently like we have seen lately, some are neutral and seen as time that was well spent yet run its course. This is the case with the now former leader of the well-known girl group After School’s Kahi who took a moment to thank her now former agency Pledis Entertainment.
On January 19th, Kahi took a moment on the mist of the groups sixth anniversary to shed some serious love on Twitter, “The sixth anniversary of After School…And at the same time it’s time to leave the agency… Everyone at Pledis, who helped me realize my dream, took me in and raised me, who lacked. Thank you so much. I will work harder no matter where I go with my improved self!!” After the release of her tweet, a representative for Pledis confirmed to Newsen what was suspected, “Kahi’s contract ended last week. We decided not to renew the contract with Kahi and she will soon be finding a new agency.”
Kahi made her debut in 2009 along with the group After School and in 2011 made her solo debut with her first solo album Come Back You Bad Boy. Kahi is currently busy taking on the role of ‘Sandra’ in the musical All Shook Up.
