Former TEEN TOP member announces his intention to pursue an acting career!

Former TEEN TOP member L.Joe is about to transform into rookie actor Byung Hun!

On the June 16 episode of SBS Power FM‘s ‘Park So Yeon’s Love Game‘, the former idol introduced himself saying, “Hello, this is rookie actor Byung Hun.”

He went on to say that he will be promoting without his surname in order to avoid being confused with the famous actor Lee Byung Hun who starred in the 2016 Hollywood film ‘The Magnificent Seven‘ alongside celebrities including as Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.

Prior to leaving TEEN TOP, Byung Hun gained experience as an actor through roles in dramas such as SBS‘s ‘Ddanddara (Entertainer)‘ and a cameo in TVN‘s ‘Grandpas Over Flowers Investigation Team‘. In April it was revealed that he had been cast as Bobby Franklin in the production ‘Special Liar‘, sharing the role with experienced actors Hong Seokcheon and Kim Hoyoung.

Byung Hun departed from TEEN TOP due to conflict with his former agency TOP Media earlier this year. Fans of his former group will be watching with great interest to see how Byung Hun fairs in his new career!
