FT Island Earns their Victory Over a Lawsuit Against a Cosmetic Brand

FT Island wins the case regarding the lawsuit that they filed against a cosmetic brand.

Recently, the group filed a lawsuit against Baviphat, a cosmetic brand that they used to endorse, for using the images after the contract’s closure back in February. Finally, it was judged by the Seoul District Court, Baviphat must pay the group 40 million KRW for the damages, and the court also ordered, “The FT Island members are to be paid 8,000,000 KRW (approximately $7,200 USD) each for the damages.”

FT Island signed with the cosmetic brand back on April 2011 and agreed to endorse Baviphat for 6 months. However, the company continued to use the faces of FT Island for their products.
