SM‘s ‘Winter Garden‘ project is kicking off soon and many fans are excited for the relay of songs that will be released this December by their lineup namely, f(x), Red Velvet, and BoA, who will each release a single on scheduled dates.
Following the release of simplistic yet mysterious image teasers from SM with a series of numbers (15, 18 and 22) and letters (F, R and B) previously, they have announced that indeed f(x) will be participating in the new winter single project and now they have given more details for the group’s latest single!
On December 11, SM Entertainment stated, “SMTOWN′s seasonal albums have received a lot of love through SM artists coming together to present diverse winter music, and Winter Garden is SM′s new winter single project, which will be released in the form of digital singles. BoA, f(x) and Red Velvet will present winter songs in a relay.”
SM added that f(x) will be starting the relay of winter songs this season with track ‘Wish List‘ that will be released on the midnight of December 15 on various music sites.
‘Wish List’ is an electronic pop song that conveys the feelings of waiting for someone you love. This will be f(x)’ first winter song in four years since ‘1, 2, 3‘ that was included in SMTOWN‘s winter album in 2011, ‘SMTOWN Winter: The Warmest Gift.’
With the release of the ‘Winter Garden’ project, SM will be hosting the ‘everyshot WINTER GARDEN league‘ contest on their video sharing application, ‘everyshot‘ which all participants can join by creating and uploading a video to go with a part of the song ‘Wish List’ that they had exclusively released on the midnight of December 11th through the app. More information on the said contest can be found on their website or on the ‘everyshot’ app.
Meanwhile. f(x) came back this year with their fourth full-length album ‘Four Walls‘ in October, ranking number one on various charts and music programs.
Excitement for SM’s upcoming winter single project has been garnering much attention due to the roster of idols from the same label joining the lineup this season and the songs that they will be releasing.
