G-Dragon is known to the world of K-Pop as BIGBANG‘s fashionably daring leader. He has embarked on his first solo tour in four years, and the US is finally taking notice.
Jeff Benjamin, staff writer for Billboard has praised G-Dragon, calling him “charismatic” and “forward thinking“, with nothing but positive things to say about his new single, “MichiGO“. In his review, he called the song, “aggressive“, “catchy“, with a powerful dubstep breakdown and continued by saying that G-Dragon’s flow is similar to that of Nicki Minaj.
Billboard commented on the unprecedented promotional tactic of the release of “MichiGO“. Over the weekend, it was released on the social media application, LINE, and was only available on the Korean, Japanese, and Thai versions of the app. It will be released throughout the rest of the world at a later date.
Billboard notice that G-Dragon “flaunted his fiery rap skills while he and his dancers partied in a storm of confetti”.
