G.I. (Global Icon) is a new androgynous girl group with an electronic, hip-hop type of image. They are managed by by Shimtong Entertainment, who also manage the boy group Tritops.

They appeared with their first teaser on March 26th, with their first teaser for their debut video, “Beatles“. They are a complete 180 degree turn from other girl groups that have been debuting this year.
The label states that, “We’re going to be different from the cute and sexy girl groups that come out almost once every week with our music and style. You can look forward to them.”
They will make their debut on April 4th.
