Following the news that Kang Gary will be officially leaving long time show, Running Man, the show filmed it’s final episode with the original member on October 31st. The cast member and rapper from hip-hop duo, Leesang, took to Instagram to share one last photo with his fellow members and cast. From the picture as seen below, Gary can be seen with all smiles alongside Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo, Ji Suk Jin, Song Ji Hyo, and Haha.
The photo’s caption translates to, “Thank you, ‘Running Man.’ I’ve been happy. You were the best moment of my life and I will not be able to forget you.”

Gary has been a member of the SBS variety show for 7 years, and will be leaving to focus on his music career. Though the rapper will be on to do greater things, he will surely be missed.
Fellow members have expressed their love and sadness over his departure. Ji Seokjin posted on his Instagram stating “Gary, I’ve been feeling weird since this morning. I can’t believe it’s your last shooting, and the sky is downcast. I’m very sad, you rascal ㅠㅠ See you later.”

Lee Gwangsoo also posted during Gary’s final episode via SNS. The post can be seen below:
Gary commented on his departure himself by posting on his SNS and stated the following:
“Hello everyone this is Gary,
First of all, I regret to say that I am truly sorry to announce the sudden news. I am sincerely grateful and thankful for all the attention and love I have received throughout the 7 years. I deeply apologize with all my heart, and I promise I will do my best wherever and whatever I pursue in the future especially for all my fans that have given me these memorable moments that I will never forget. I also want to thank those who have supported me with my decision. Again, I am sorry and again, thank you! Lastly, please continue to support ‘Running man’ and the cast for all the hard work and effort they put in each week to make the best of ‘Running man’
