“Gentleman” #1 in 20 Countries

Psy has taken over the iTunes charts in 20 different countries. It is yet to be determined whether or not “Gentleman” will break the records set by “Gangnam Style”, which topped charts in 41 countries.

“Gentleman” is ranked #1 on iTunes in countries such as Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam and various other countries, making 20 altogether.
Yesterday, on iTunes World Single Charts (based on charts worldwide), “Gentleman” shot to #2  from its previous 8th place. Psy’s past single, “Gangnam Style” had ranked#1 in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, and France.

His new single has garnered a vast amount of attention, and is being called a “crossroad” for the rapper. There is speculation as to whether he will go out as a “one-hit wonder,” or continue his success, which was the question everyone was asking about his return with “Gentleman“.

As of now, “Gentleman” ranks #61 on the charts in the UK, and #11 in the U.S.
