On September 7, Yang Hyun Suk or YG himself gave people a glimpse of the upcoming debut of YG Entertainment‘s very own hip-hop boy group iKON through his latest Instagram post here, with hashtags #iKON #firstMV #debut #comingsoon #nowshooting.
On YG’s post, it shows a video of the actual shooting of iKON’s debut music video in a track and field setting, with them riding various motorcycles and scooters. You can also a hear a clip of the actual debut song of iKON yet to be released this month.
And yesterday, September 7, through iKON’s official Facebook page here and its website yg-life.com, YG released another teaser poster with what seems to be an announcement from no one else but them on September 8 at 11 AM Korean Standard Time. On the poster you can see a red basketball court with a unique and well-thought-of logo of iKON that is also similar to the rays from South Korea’s official flag.
Check out the teaser poster below.
Months ago, YG himself told reporters that iKON will officially debut on September 15. iKON is a product of Mnet and YG Entertainment’s survival reality program Mix & Match where 7 members were chosen. iKON is one of the most anticipated rookie group to debut this year, and fans are getting anxious and excited day by day.
So what do you think this means? Who’s not ready? What are we supposed to be getting ready for?
