Lee GiKwang has officially made his solo comeback!
The last time the singer promoted as a soloist was before Beast or Highlight. He debuted as AJ a good six months before Beast released their first single.
The release of his solo album ‘ONE’ and the title track ‘What You Like’ mark a major milestone for the multi-talented performer.
The technical part of the review is that this song is a future bass, R&B influenced track featuring tropical house rhythms with minimal arrangements of GiKwang‘s vocals.
Basically all that means is the track is upbeat, catchy and fun, and GiKwang‘s unique voice is the standout.
It could be argued that every K-pop track coming out at the moment is fitting squarely in the same lane of tropical house, the difference with this track (besides the vocal) is that it grows on you. The more you play it, the more you love it!
