Girls Generation Dominates Japan’s Oricon Charts Again with ‘The Best’

Girls Generation is a powerhouse act on the J-pop scene, especially with the success of their 3rd Japanese tour, and now their recent Japanese album, ”The Best” proves their domination on the music charts.

The album topped the Oricon Charts at number 1. Their last full length album was 2013’s  Love & Peace, which did very well the charts also and was a commercial success.  Girls Generation is the most successful non-Japanese group in Asia to gain such momentum!

‘The Best’ is an 18-track album, and is a compilation of their hits such as “Genie”, “Mr. Taxi”, and “Galaxy Supernova”, including both Japanese and Korean versions as well as their new ballad ‘Indestructible.’
