Girls’ Generation Haven’t Received a CD nor a Greeting from Their Hoobaes

The nine lovely ladies of Girls’ Generation guested on the “Guerilla Date” segment of KBS2TV‘s January 12th broadcast of ‘Entertainment Relay.’

After they walked around Hongdae with a crowd of fans, the girls retreated into the warm indoors to enjoy street food and an interview.

Reporter and MC Kim Tae Jin asked the girls during the interview,  “Since you’ve been in the industry for 6 years now, you must have a lot of hoobaes (juniors) now?” Member Jessica answered, “We’ve never received a CD and we’ve never received a greeting (from the hoobaes),” and fellow member Sunny quickly explained, “Because there’s 9 of us, I think we’re a bit too intimidating for them.” The members nodded agreement and continued savoring the ttekbokki, street food that was picked up earlier by a special mission team of YoonA, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, and Taeyeon.

Netizens also recalled this issue being brought up by KARA before, about hoobaes nowadays not being as respectful as expected.
