K-pop is furthering its influence, as Girls’ Generation and PSY joined numerous international celebrities for the first ‘YouTube Music Awards‘!
The nine-member girl group and their January release, “I Got A Boy” made it onto the Video of the Year filter, alongside PSY with “Gentleman.” The international soloist’s single was also nominated for Artist of the Year as well as YouTube Phenomenon with his past hit “Gangnam Style.”
Korean duo Jayesslee and their cover of “Gangman Style” made it onto Video Response of the Year.
