Girls’ Generation to Release a Compilation Album in Japan

It’s about time for Girls’ Generation to release a compilation album with all songs they have released so far.

Titled “The Best,” the album will be released in Japan on July 23rd. It will be available in three different versions: a Complete Limited Edition, a First Press Limited Edition, and a Regular Edition.

As you can see, most of the songs have already been released. However, we will have a chance to listen to two new tracks: Japanese version of “Mr.Mr” and “Indestructible.” 

Complete Limited Edition includes: 

• CD with above tracklist, as well as “Hoot” and “The Boys” (18 songs in total)
• Bonus CD with recommended songs from Girls’ Generation’s Korean discography, one from each member (tracklist to be determined)
• Analog record-sized box
• Large-sized interview booklet (64 pages)
• Trading card set
• Blu-ray disc (approximately 230 minutes) including 37 MVs from Japan and Korea, “Everyday Love” performance from the Yokohama Arena on December 14th, 2013, split screen version of “MR. TAXI,” new solo interviews, “Live History”: footage from Girls’ Generation’s debut to the third Japan tour and making of “The Best” (behind-the-scenes of album jacket photoshoot). 

First Press Limited Edition includes:

• CD with above tracklist (16 songs)
• DVD (approximately 130 minutes) including 9 MVs, new solo interviews, and making of “The Best” (behind-the-scenes of album jacket photoshoot). 

Regular Edition includes:

• CD with above tracklist (16 songs)

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation are in the middle of their “LOVE&PEACE” Japan tour which began in April and will continue through July of this year.
