Members of Girls’ Generation revealed their honest feelings for their single “Dancing Queen”.
The song was intended to be the title track for their mini album back in year 2008. However, the song was later cancelled and replaced with “Gee”, later propelling the group to fame worldwide.
“Dancing Queen” finally saw its proper release as part of their album “I Got a Boy”.
“When we first heard that the song and video would be cancelled, we had a difficult time and shed many tears. It was a difficult time, but later with the success of ‘Gee’, it made it all worth the hardships.”
The ladies will be promoting their comeback single “I Got a Boy”, an urban dance number with hip-hop aesthetics. The first comeback stage will be on Mnet’s M! Countdown on January 3.
