Girls’ Generation to Comeback Through a New Year Special “Girls’ Generation’s Romantic Fantasy”

Girls’ Generation announced that they’ll be coming back in a New Year Day special program.

On January 1, MBC will be airing “MBC New Year Special: Girls’ Generation’s Romantic Fantasy” where members will be performing title tracks from their fourth album “I Got a Boy” and “Dancing Queen” as well as new songs and other performances for the first time.

Pre-recording for the show took place on the 23rd and it was said that the show contains 16 songs and took more than 20 hours to film. Hundreds of fans gathered to watch pre-recording of the show.

From fan accounts, the special will feature appearance by other artists. In addition, select members will be covering songs by Western artists.

The special will air on January 1, 11.15 pm KST.
