The group is set to have a new objective for their 2013 comeback.
On December 11th, an insider from the music industry revealed that Girls’ Generation is secretly preparing for their fourth album that is said to be released on January 2013.
They explained, “SNSD have been working on albums to be released in both Japan and Korea. They will most likely to release a new album in Korea early in January next year.” As stated by them, the group will release an album early next year after their 3rd album, ‘The Boys‘ which was released last October 2011. You can still remember that Girls’ Generation’ first ever sub-unit, Taetiseo or TTS, had its debut last April 2012 with their mini-album ‘Twinkle‘ that ranked high on the album charts.
According to SNSD’s representative, “SNSD have almost finished working on their new album because they have already decided the lead track of the album. We haven’t decided when to release the album, yet. It’s also too early to talk about whether or not they will release a new album in overseas countries.”
Girls’ Generation recently released their 2nd Japanese full-length album, ‘Girls’ Generation II Girls and Peace~‘ which was released last November 28th.
