Sooyoung calls out her pretender.
On March 21st, the singer posted a special message along with a selca, which is posted below, on Girls’ Generation‘s official website addressing to her imposter who have been using her name on a social networking site.
The message reads:
“Everyone ^-^~
Are you doing well? I hear the sound of spring coming~ Haha
Shall we go down the road where the flowers have blossomed? Haha.
Although I hear Korea is really cold. ㅠㅅㅠ
Just because spring is coming, don’t be careless and don’t catch a cold!! ^^
The reason why I’m writing is not just because I’m excited for spring~ but I couldn’t stay still with an impersonator acting in full swing with the last of the cold spell ^-^ Haha.
I tried to laugh it off at first~
But because the person kept making our SONEs confused, it makes sense that I got angry, right~~? haha.
Dear fake Sooyoung~ if you’re reading these words right now, please stop~^^
I’m grateful that you were trying to interact with SONEs for my sake for awhile, but now you shouldn’t. Haha.
If you don’t stop, I won’t just sit still either ^^
I’m sorry for not coming with better news during this time when the heart fluttery winds of spring is blowing~ ^-^”
This type of issue like making a fake account or hacking an idol’s social networking account are very common in the industry and they’ve been affecting the names of popular celebrities, like Super Junior‘s Donghae and JYJ‘s Jaejoong.
On the other hand, Girls’ Generation is set to perform at the ‘Super Joint Concert’ in Thailand along with other KPOP groups.
