Oh my sweet Lord! Amber!
So, let me calm down a bit so I can write an article that can actually have actual sentences, because the words that are coming in my head and the feels are really too much.
Amber finally dropped her music video for her debut mini album “Beautiful”, the title song “Shake That Brass” featuring Girls Generation‘s Taeyeon.
From the first beat until the last, I find this song and music video the best release so far in 2015.
Yes, Jonghyun had an amazing solo debut, but I am really happy for Amber. After the uncertainty of f(x)‘s future after last year, it is fantastic to see Amber getting time to bask in the spotlight.
Let’s watch the actual music video here before I lose myself completely.
At first she appears in front of a band that is preparing for a rehearsal. But the thing is that “band” are actually her friends, including artists from SM Entertainment, Woolim Entertainment and JYP; g.o.d’s Junhyung, miss A’s Min and Jia, Hyoyeon,GOT7’s Jackson, Rainbow’s Woori, Crayon Pop’s Ellin, Busker Busker’s Brad, NU’EST’s Aron, C-Clown’s Rome, and Irene Kim.
Then, the fun starts with amazing beat and choreography, Amber’s rapping sounds amazing, with a lot of swag and toughness. The music video is full of good vibes and is the type of song that makes you want to jump and dance with the beat as soon as you hear it.
A lot of Amber’s fans were worried about Taeyeon’s appearance in this song, that she would some how outshine our amazing Llama. They worried in vain. Taeyeon, did a good job with her hook, the contrast of their voices making Amber shine even brighter.
What do you think about Amber’s solo debut?
Please tell us all about it and stay tuned with Oficially KMusic!
