After the teasers, slight schedule changes, and an album preview, Infinite H‘s “Pretty” music video has finally been released! And boy, there’s so much to talk about.
First off, who wouldn’t want Dongwoo as a lawyer? I wouldn’t even mind being prosecuted by Hoya if I was on trial. But you have to feel bad for the poor girl, even though her suave, handsome lawyer did win her case. No, you have to feel bad for her because, from my own assumptions, she’s only on trial because she made Hoya and Dongwoo fall all over themselves, and that is really the only reason she is being persecuted. Now obviously we don’t have any back story and the video starts with her on trial, but let’s just use our imaginations here.
The video was fun, enjoyable to watch, and at some parts, you can’t even help but to laugh. Oh, and if you’re familiar with Woollim Entertainment and its CEO Lee Jungyeop, he was the “beggar” at 3:32. Wouldn’t be the first time he made an appearance in an Infinite H music video since he played the janitor in the beginning of their “Special Girl” video, wearing pretty much the same outfit as in this music video. It even looks like he has the same broom.
Music video aside, let’s focus more on the song, which was pretty awesome and something I would expect to hear from Infinite H. A perfect mix of rapping and singing, what we’ve experienced from their first album “Fly High.” A job well done from both Dongwoo and Hoya, as well as Brand New Music.
