On August 2nd, boy group GOLDEN CHILD dropped the music video to their latest comeback title track, ‘Ra Pam Pam’. This comes alongside the dectet’s 2nd full album, ‘Game Changer’. The full album contains 11 tracks, all ready to showcase their developed charms.
The title track sees the Woolim Entertainment return to a darker sound. Taking on a reggae moombahton type beat, the boys sing about chasing towards their love despite facing averse circumstances. Their vocals shine through beautifully along with a quickening third verse rap adding further variety to the track. Its constant and pounding beat doesn’t allow listeners to take their attention away from from the piece.

GOLDEN CHILD ‘RA PAM PAM’ MV:
Watching the music video, it’s nothing short of what could be considered a short film. We first see a satellite from outer space use its weapons to direct nuclear size explosions onto the Earth, destroying various cities and its inhabitants within a bang. Targeting the city the group resides in, the atmosphere around the boys soon goes toxic as they chase to find backup plans and gas masks to try and stop these ungodly forces. With the area in ruins and dust particles swirling round, some members head out into the oblivion to find to source of the destruction. Encountering soldiers on ground, they get shot. Wounded though, they fight on and find the answer to stop the wrecking. Entering the security code, the weapon sucking the city of life stops. As the sky clears, the video ends with the members looking around to the damage done.
With its gripping storyline, you can’t miss out on the choreography the 2017 debutants perform. Dancing right on the beat, the synchronized act give a charismatic performance with a slight Latin flair in the chorus.
