GREE starts a new chapter in his life by turning a leaf over on his musical style. So, check out the MV for ‘Doves‘.
Brand New Music revealed that GREE will be returning with a new beginning as a rapper. This is quite evident since he has gone from a kid on ‘High School Rapper‘ to someone who has grown and improved over time. In particular, as we listen to this track, he has gone for a more mature Hip-Hop sound. He has adopted the tropical sound while effortlessly rap over such an addictive beat. It goes well with the way he raps and one can’t help but really settle into the track. The instrumentals of this track are quite loud and really overpowers the track. Then, there is this distort sound that comes from his voice and the two sounds clashes with one another. It takes time to really get used to the sound but once you settle, it becomes better to listen to.
Meanwhile, The visuals of this video are also quite detailed and very interesting to listen to. The camera continues to span to different places while still keeping it simple. With a hard-hitting beat, it is interesting to see how the dancer is able to move with contemporary-style gestures. Then, GREE greets us with his Hip-hop ways and moves to the beat. Overall, it shows a new side to him that fans have yet to see.
