Having announced Gugudan‘s first subunit, more information as been revealed! This subunit is made up of the maknae line: Mina and Hyeyeon. The two are gearing up for their subunit debut and has dropped an image teaser!

The duo will be promoting under the name Gugudan 5959, which is pronounced as Gugudan OguOgu! How cute is that? The name was chosen since Hyeyeon is in charge of the number 5 and Mina is in charge of number 9! Each member in Gugudan is in charge of a number! Did you know that?
For the teaser, the girls have dropped a moving one! It features an icy pole that has two popsicles! Since there is a number on the popsicle, it may be presenting the duo! What also catches peoples’ eyes are the pouring juice into the ice-cream. It is quite colourful and vibrant with the use of beautiful yet cute fruits! It definitely captivates the audience and has fans quite intrigued as to what the concept will be about!
