‘The Heirs‘ cast recently gathered to reminisce back to their favorite scenes in the drama that’s two episodes away from its finish!
Lee Min Ho as Kim Tan shared that his favorite was when he declared to his fiancé he’s real birth mother. He shared, “My heart started beating fast right from the moment I held the script. I couldn’t get rid of the heavy, painful feeling in my heart all throughout the filming as I thought about Kim Tan’s emotions and what he will face. I don’t think I will be able to forget this scene.”
Lee Min Ho’s follow up favorite, he states, “I also remember the scene in which I fight with KimWoo Bin in the street. It was the scene in which Kim Tan’s emotions fall without end into the ground.”
Park Shin Hye as the female protagonist revealed that her favorite was when her character Cha Eun Sang prepared notes for her mother before leaving to the U.S. As well, she loved the reunion with her mother, and when Kim Tan back hugs her and confesses his feelings.
Park Shin Hye shared, “For the scenes in which I cry holding my mom, and I leave Kim Tan, I cried as soon as I read the script. It was difficult for me even after I finished filming because of the sad emotions left.”
Kim Woo Bin picked when his character Choi Young Do ate a homemade meal by Eun Sang’s mother. It was quite a warm scene, as his prestigious character had barely had such meals. He said, “I think it was the scene in which I was best able to portray, however indirectly, the pain and sadness that Young Do carries around.”
Krystal plays Lee Bo Na, an easily-jealous girl that’s quite humorous and adorable with her tendencies. Her favorite scene was when Choi Young Do brings Kim Tan to his mother, the opposite of their childhood selves. Krystal confessed, “This scene left an impression as it showed Choi Young Do not wanting Kim Tan to have the same regret he has after losing his chance to meet his own mother due to his anger toward Kim Tan. I was able to feel Choi Young Do’s warm heart despite his cold outer appearance.”
Kang Min Hyuk as Lee Bo Na’s boyfriend Yoon Chan Young shared that he loved Lee Bo Na’s confession scene, where she embarrassingly realized it was broadcasted school-wide. He said,“As well as happily filming the lovey-dovey scene with Bo Na, I also laugh immediately when I see it on screen. It’s an unforgettable scene.”
Kim Ji Won as Rachel shared that her most memorable moment was when Rachel met Eun Sang at the airport. She said, “Smart and outspoken Rachel left a deep impression on me as she rapidly shot out Japanese to Eun Sang.”
Park Hyung Sik is Jo Myung Soo and shared that his favorite was when he was in the studio with Kim Woo Bin, showing off his aegyo. It was the foundation for his character personality and he thanked the PD and staff for creating his character.
