HYUKOH have made a welcome return to the music scene with the release of their new album ‘24: How to Find True Love and Happiness‘ and the title track ‘Love Ya!‘.
HYUKOH is one of the hottest indie rock bands in South Korea and on this album, the quartet draw inspiration from the emotions of love and happiness, which is something they haven’t covered before.
The album which contains a total of six songs, all feature English lyrics except for the second track. The concept and feel for this release is beautiful and sweet, but still maintains that signature HYUKOH sound. The group’s frontman Oh Hyuk wrote the title track ‘Love Ya!‘, and he admitted it’s his first love song.
‘Love Ya!’ was a sweet love song that was written for couples all over the world. In a recent press conference, Oh Hyuk commented, “It’s our first song about lovers. I wrote the song with a message that we extend our support for all the lovers in the world.”
The song builds up nicely from the start of the track whilst maintaining the constant signature sound that the group have become known for. It has a calming and soothing melody which the group is also known for. The video clip that accompanies the song is a beautiful celebration of life and love in all it’s forms.

The group also released the MV to ‘Skyworld‘ which at just over one minute is the shortest track on their new EP. It’s a cute and adorable song with a clip where the group find themselves in an upside down, topsy-turvy world.
