Dissatisfied with the explanation provided by Loen Entertainment, an ‘I-Jinyo‘ cafe now comes to the spotlight.
The cafe was created in Naver before the IU–Eunhyuk photo incident in August 2012. After the incident, membership has more than doubled and now holds more than 3,300 members.
‘I-Jinyo’ translates as ‘We Demand The Truth from IU’. On November 10, IU accidently uploaded a scandalous photo of herself and Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk on her Twitter, which was deleted minutes later. Nevertheless, netizens managed to get hold of the photo, leading to a dating rumor. The incident drew mixed responses from fans and netizens.
The cafe members emphasized that they are not a group created to curse the solo artist or be her anti-fans, but merely wants IU to explain the situation personally and nothing else. Netizens are divided in their opinions about the cafe, some saying “Isn’t this a bit too much..“, “She said she’s not dating him“, and some others saying, “I’m curious“, and “I really want to know the truth.”
Is this a trend whenever a celebrity scandal emerges?
