During this time of year in South Korea, many students are preparing for the SATs, or Scholastic Ability Tests which are also known as college exams.
It has become a tradition in the Korean music industry for idols to send uplifting messages of encouragement during this time of year to cheer on students getting ready to take the SAT exams.
Exams are very stressful, and there are many young people hoping and praying to get into the college/university of their choice.
