Rookie group iKon have been dropping odd hints for the past few days, but finally Bobby has confirmed his debut as a solo artist!
The teasers were released as ‘screenshots’ of messages between Bobby and his ‘girlfriend’ in which Bobby asks “What are you doing? Can you keep a secret?” which left fans in the dark at what he was planning, but now our favorite husky voiced rapper has confirmed our wildest dreams and promises fans a ‘very strong and powerful hip-hop’ song. In his teaser screenshot he confirmed he will be recording his solo MV ‘in the next few days’, but we’re still holding out for an MV release date.
Since debuting in 2015 iKon have gained credibility in the Kpop community, having an ‘all-kill’ with popular song ‘My type’. Rapper Bobby is no stranger to performing without his group behind him; he was a hit on the TV show ‘Show me the money’ which has featured many other famous rappers. He also performed alongside fellow iKon member B.I in Epik High’s ‘Born Hater’ MV in 2014 before their group debut. This will be Bobby’s first solo MV, and we at Kmusic wish him the best!
iKon are currently still on their SHOWTIME tour around Asia but it seems nothing are going to slow this hot rookie group down!
