With “Fly Again” and “Pretty” promotions heavily underway, Infinite H are quite busy at the moment. As part of their comeback schedule, they had a MelOn Premiere Showcase held at AX Korea on the 26th.
During the showcase, which was hosted by none other than Infinite‘s own Sungkyu and Woohyun, Dongwoo and Hoya performed 4 songs off their new album; “Pretty,” “Go Nowhere” featuring Yang Da Il, “Sorry I’m Busy” featuring Swings and Champagne of Champagne & Candle, and “Bump It” featuring Lovelyz‘s Sujeong (also called “Life Goes On,” depending on the translation).
After the pair perform “Go Nowhere” with Yang Da Il, they sit down for a quick Q&A session, where they’re asked how they feel coming back after two years, to which Hoya answers, “I know our fans have waited for us for the past two years and I have looked forward to it for two years too.”
Dongwoo then talks about “Go Nowhere,” saying that it is produced by D.O of Duex, and can be thought of as a retro hip hop kind of song.
Infinite H talk a little more about their album and the musical style of it, and then go right into a performance of “Sorry I’m Busy,” which was actually banned by KBS because of the nature of the language of the lyrics. “Sorry I’m Busy” is a song that’s basically about “acting arrogantly and thinking we’re (Dongwoo and Hoya) so great.” In Hoya’s own words, “I guess it’s a song of reasonable bragging.”
After a performance of “Bump It” with Lovelyz’s Sujeong, the MCs finally make their appearance onstage for a talking session, where Infinite H reveals who they’d want to form a unit group with if they didn’t form Infinite H. Dongwoo answers jokingly with, “I would like to do a solo album” and Hoya with “I want to do it with our fans. How about Infirit (Infinite and Inspirit)?”
And after the MCs leave the stage, we finally get to see Infinite H perform their title song “Pretty,” complete with English lyrics courtesy of 1theK.
