YG Entertainment has had one busy year and they aren’t planning on stopping when 2015 ends. YG announced on December 14 through a teaser poster that their five member juniors, Winner, will finally be making a comeback January 11.
Back in September, Papa YG (Yang HyunSuk) posted on his personal Instagram “WINNER Miss Them?” This made Inner Circles think that the comeback for their favourite group would be around the corner. As per usual, no word of a new album release or such was announced after that. Now that that is over.
Winner debuted August of 2014 with a full album ‘2014 S/S’. They were one of the hottest groups to debut that year, winning six music show awards with their first title track, ‘Empty’, and numerous Best New Artist awards to boot. They also made a new record of being the fastest male group to win a music award.
Many know the band as “Team A” from the survival show, ‘YG’s Win: Who Is Next’ which allowed them to debut before “Team B” also known as iKON. SeungYoon, Mino, JinWoo, SeungHoon, and TaeHyun have waited a year and five months for this announcement; thankfully they have been busy with their Worldwide Inner Circle Conference: WWIC tour and two Japanese tours to promote ‘2014 S/S: Japan Collection’.
I can’t wait to see what Winner has in store for us! Inner Circles, are you ready? Let us know!
