The girls from Crayon Pop are finally back with an unique and amazing music video, that could not have been pulled off by any other group!
In “FM,” as they had already announced, they portray Korean female versions of the “Power Rangers,” but somehow they managed to throw in the characters of “Sailor Moon” as well.
Given the storyline of the music video, it seems like each member represents a ranger and a sailor from a different planet. Geunmi is the blue ranger from Mercury, Soyul is the yellow one from Jupiter, Choa is the red one from Saturn, Way is the orange one from Mars, and Ellin is the pink one from Venus.
As the MV goes on, they meet dangerous enemies and invoke colorful and powerful weapons to defeat them. They do it in a way that’s so funny that the video could be turned into a Korean comedy movie.
The song, however, sounds much more mature than the last ones from Crayon Pop. Although the style is the same and the rythym immediately reminds us of Crayon Pop, this time the girls are not forcing their voices to make them sound shrill and cutesy. It’s awesome to know that they can still mantain their concept by using their regular voices, cause it means that we can expect the girls to have many more comebacks as they grow up.
Check out this awesome music video:
Wasn’t it funny? My favorite part was when they actually became a kind of Crayon Pop megazord and destroyed the enemy with their laser cannon. Only Crayon Pop could make this music video so good!
