IU is finally back with her album, ‘Palette‘. For this album, her title track, ‘Palette’, features BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon, who raps in this track. Check it out below!
For this track, IU had asked for G-Dragon’s opinion on the lyrics. Whilst listening to his opinion on how a rapping part will fit nicely to ‘Palette’, she was took a huge leap by asking him to collaborate with her on this title track. Amazingly enough, he had agreed, allowing fans to see such an amazing collaboration track between the two. This kind of track fits perfectly with her beautiful and soothing vocals. This track repeats the lyrics, “I’m 25“, which is like a reference to her other tracks where she referred to ‘23‘ or when she was 18 years old. This vibe allows fans to see her mature side yet still see her cute adorable side. What makes this track amazing is G-Dragon’s rap. It is so clean and cuts at the right parts. IU has made a great decision to ask him to rap and fans are happy to see this collaboration! Like the rest of her tracks, ‘Palette’ made an all-kill on the tracks, showing just how amazing IU is.
As IU had dropped the music video teaser for ‘Ending Scene’, which features Kim Soo Hyun. She has finally dropped the music video for it! Check it out below!
Unlike ‘Palette’, ‘Ending Scene’ allows the piano to guide the melody of the track but also help set the reflective atmosphere. IU is surely so talented and shows how her voice can fit in any genre that is given to her. When her voice hits a much higher note, it surely brought chills to those who listen. The music video itself shows IU and Soo Hyun’s progressed relationship and the steps they took together to build their relationship.
