After much speculation, it is confirmed that IU will be the female protagonist of upcoming KBS drama ‘Pretty Boy‘!
She takes on the role of Kim Bo Tong, a girl that is just average. However, after meeting Dokgo Matte (Jang Geun Suk) in middle school, she changes for him and protects him from the courteous girls around.
Group Eight, the production company, announced, “Teaching Dokgo Matte about sincere love through normal charms, IU, who is playing Kim Bo Tong, will completely pull of this role 120 percent. We will provide to you the most unbalanced couple and unique romance that Korea has seen.”
